County Treasurer

The Treasurer is the collector of taxes and fees including property tax, motor vehicle fees and sales tax on vehicle purchases.  Other responsibilities charged to the treasurer are receiving all moneys belonging to the county, maintaining a true account of all county receipts, distributions of revenues to taxing entities and investing unencumbered moneys in accordance with the County Investment Policy.
